"HOT" trainers at each track
« on: October 26, 2022, 07:01:59 PM »
Hoosier:  Tyler George batting .457 if fucking unreal.  Hard worker?  Family man?  Horse whisperer?

Yonkers:  Team Bon-Bon and Alexader...will they be in the next round?  Time will tell.  Seem to be only
               picking their spots right now.

Monty:    Petrelli and Brandstatter...bo th with crazy numbers.  But as Mike says, it's just Monty.

Harrington/Dover/Rosecroft:  Keep an eye out for Darren Ferrell.  Doesn't flood the box.  But ridiculous
results with his entries.  Batting .475 with over 100 starts.   Chrissy
Crissman-bier picking up some big stables and not caring who she claims
off.  One to watch when Dover starts.  Been doing well at Harrah's Philly
                                            this meet so far.

I am not doubting any of these names aren't good horsemen/women.  But to hit these stats I feel one must have some type of edge.  Legal or otherwise.  Anyone have knowledge of any of these first hand or any others at different tracks.  I don't know much about the Ohio circuit.

IF YOURE PAYING ATTENTION AT HOOSIER, TYLER GEORGE IS DEFINETLT USING SOMETHING BUT SO IS ERV MILLER. THOSE TWO GUYS WIN AT HOOSIER ANY TIME THEY WANT. I BELIEVE THAT ERV MIGHT BE LOSING ON PURPOSE ON THE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS BIG STAKE RACES BECAUSE ALL OF HIS HORSES ALREADY WON OVER 100-200K SO WHY PUSH IT? THAT MIGHT BE THE SMARTEST MOVE OF ALL SINCE HE ALREADY WON ALL OF THE STAKE RACES EARLY WHY PUCH IT ON THE BIG NIGHT WHEN EVERYONE IS WATCHING. I WOULDNT BE SURPRISED IF ERV LOSSES ON PURPOSE ON THOSE BIG NIGHTS.

The greedy don't tank on the big money nights.  They were burnt from too many hot lunches/fast miles too early.  He needs to pace himself next season.  He had a barn full of excellent 2 yos and had a very disappointing night at the super finals.  Those horses made decent money but could've been so much more if they weren't so greedy early.  2yos only have so much to give.

When we were going to talk about "hot" trainers I though this was going to go in a different direction.

I think a huge part of Tyler's success comes from entering his horses where he knows they will be a top 3 contender. So many trainers are stupid with the condition sheets. He only enters where/when he knows he has the class horse in the field. Not afraid to run in claiming level with superior horses. Heck, Rollin Rosie was running in B level ISS eligibles to start the year ngc3

I agree they are classified correctly, but it's more than that.

What would be the “excuse” for Erv Miller then? His horses aren’t in claimers and he wins every stakes race until night of champions and then tanks.
