How about by July 1 ? I see the us trotting spread sheet don’t see much opening in June that’s for sure . Pocono, meadows , Chester , Monticello, Saratoga, Buffalo, Yonkers, Meadowlands. This is crazy not to have solid dates yet with June 4 days away .

I think most tracks in NY are trying to get an idea when slots will be able to open...Most likely Phase 3
agree . 90 % of the purses are from slots

I meant that the tracks might get more than 90% of their purse money from slots!
yes some might , but I thought 90% at Saratoga .

There is no way Saratoga"s handle supports 10% of the purse money...hell, they handle around 125K on a Saturday...99% of that is bet off track
so what would the purses be with no slot welfare?

Meadowland to resume racing June 5 at 7:15 p.m

Qualifiers will be held at Gaitway on Friday, May 29, Sunday, May 31, and Tuesday, June 2, for farm tenants only, no outside horses will be permitted. The Meadowlands will host qualifiers on Saturday, May 30. Magical Acres has applied to hold additional qualifiers on Monday, June 1, and Wednesday, June 3, pending approval from the New Jersey Racing Commission.

Pari-mutuel racing at the Meadowlands is scheduled to resume on Friday, June 5 at 7:15 p.m., and once it does, live action will take place every Friday and Saturday throughout June and July with a first-race post time of 7:15 p.m. At this time, the dates are pending regulatory approval. Of course, given what is now known as the "new normal", there will be no fans allowed inside the Big M for the foreseeable future.

When do Meadowlands qualify.  I would like to stop by and watch qualifiers tomorrow.  Are fans allowed anywhere on grounds?  Thanks
