Title: Saratoga Harness August 17th Race 10
Post by: Babinga on September 02, 2020, 03:51:59 PM
Remember the old football commercial - "You Make the Call?"  In the 10th race at Saratoga on 8/17, #6 Eternal Prince was taken down for interference.   The 2-5 favorite Bob's Hope did a give and go which left Eternal Prince in the pocket approaching the 2nd turn.  The #1 horse, who was sitting third, ran into External Prince and broke.

The judges must of watched the replay a dozen times and eventually took Eternal Prince down for interference.  They ruled that he slowed down too much while letting Bob's Hope clear.  Do you think this was the correct call?  You can view the replay here:

Bad call but give and go has got to stop.  Bob's Hope was ready to fall down.
