talk about an unfair start for the 6 and 7 WTF!!!!
-
Mayhem happened a few seconds after the start. Looked like 7 tossed his head around broke and locked wheels with the 6. Number 8 got taken out too.
-
The track announcer clearly said "Good Start" BEFORE they the incident. Watch the replay
-
It's when the timer starts. That's "official"
Watch the replay. I counted at least 3 seconds after the car sped away from the field before the break.
-
The answer is that there is a thing called a "Fair Start" pole. What happens after that is up to the starter on whether or not to call a recall. The judges reviewed the race and didn't find anything wrong.

Correct.
It's called "Untimed Start." Maywood did it, opening the gate 40 yards before the start/finish line.
Done to mitigate outside post disadvantage.
