Who’s announcing at Bangor? I can honestly say that’s the first time in quite awhile I had a good laugh at what an announcer said during a race. Race -#7 yesterday, good job by the man on the mic tmbz1
-
The new voice in the announcer booth at Bangor is Shane Bacon.
He used to be the announcer there in the early 90's....he also worked Lewiston many many years ago
He also has a Presiding Judges license.........a nd worked as PJ at Bangor in the early 2000's
He will be leaving soon to work the Vernon NY race meet as PJ
The young man , Wayne Harvey ,who has done Bangor for years has been doing the Wednesday card and will continue to announce at Bangor
-
Shane is the worst and may be the dumbest white guy on the planet
-
your statement proves that you are the dumbest on the planet.
-
shane is good guy. was a little tough when he first got his judges license but he tries to do a good job, which we need more in our industry to do.
-
He, Wayne Harvey, and the guy at Plainridge are each way better than Shades, Yonkers guy, and most others I have heard.

Mike Timmons assoc judge fast track Race commissioner in charge of Cumberland fair! No conflict???
-
Doesn't matter. All state officials take an oath of trust
-
LOL ngc3!!!!!!
-
its scarborough north sadly. without the otb. what can go wrong? while downs had to close this has become a slightly different, but still a sewer. i guess what i thought months ago was pretty spot on. commission member too thrilled that downs was closing now has racing at his home fair and get to be a judge too. where is joe ricci when you need him. if he were alive this would be so much more entertaining.
seeing all this im feeling its about 3-5 that there wont be much if any racing there in november and december.
-
anyone with any inside sources on what the condition sheet/purses look like? I say is going to be like Cal/Expo. They need to get away from TM. Tm 60 and under nw race this year. Retire them

Mike Timmons Race commissioner in charge of Cumberland fair! No conflict???
Mike has resigned from the Racing Commission....... ............getti ng a job as judge probably assured Fast Track to get approval of the Cumberland Fair.
Question is..Can an Associate Judge act as middle man in selling horses that race there to the Amish ??

everything is on the up and up. nothing wrong went on. nothing to see here move right along. sadly done right cumby had a chance especially the way the new england tracks have started so well, but its looking like downs north with a few new people. maybe its just the start up and key people will come on later. hoping for the best.
