Title: NJ Fixed Odds Betting Bill Soon To Be Law
Post by: makingit on July 27, 2021, 09:01:35 PM
NJ is on the verge of enacting this type of wagering.  If the horse is 10 to 1 when you bet that is what you get paid if it wins even if the horses odds at the start of the race are 2 to 1 or 50 to 1.  My question is will you still be allowed to place a bet according to the existing rules where you bet but get paid the odds that the horse goes off at? All exotic (EX, Tri Super DD) wagers remain the same under the old existing the rules.   Wonder if this is a good change for NJ Racing?  Passed both Houses in Trenton and the Governor is expected to sign it into law.

If Monmouth (WH) hangs a bad price out there and you bet it aggressively, they are going to close your account immediately and tell you that you are no longer welcome to bet

They will not let you bet against a horse

They will not allow exotics

They will cap you if you win
