Hate that he's retiring but he's just that damn good. 48.1 in a sloppy mess.

Made a few $ there too on the cold ex. Stockade seelster showed a lot of guts to hang on for 2nd.  Glad i skipped all the early races (looked too chalky). I ll ry one more play here.  5 to win and cold 3-5 ex.

I am curious - how did Rattle My Cage get a bye into this race this week? How is that determined?

awesome to see the comeback story of Southwind Tyrion. Remember he was one of the top 2 year olds of 2020 and 2nd in the Mohawk Million  but missed his entire 3 year old season and didnt race for over 18 months. Little by little he has got better and better and now at the top of his game again fulfilling his potential.

Is there a better trotting trainer than Ake

Jimmy Takter in his prime could not hold a candle to Ake

Al Rajah One looked like he flailed in the wet going.  But never fear, Ake wins with another one

if i am reading correctly the handle for saturday  night was $2.6 m
has to be disappointing ? 15 races?
the handle for the last few breeders races was strong
but only $2.6m in total
were are all the bettors who help the big m do $3m on regular nights
maybe have all 12 final races on the saturday night

Maybe like me. I bet 3 races and made about $300 profit. Lot of the rest of the card was awfully chalky looking on paper and am glad i stayed away. If i had bet the entire BC portion of the crown card i probably would have handicapped the remaining "local" races and best those as well but given i was not betting some of the more chalky BC races i tuned in but only played a few. With so much chalk likely really couldnt play horizontal bets. If a  generic card of overnights has chalk a bettor can usually find a few odds on horses to toss from a p4/5 but in breeders crown races chalk very reliable.
