No wonder Have Faith in Me has not raced in USA yet
« on: July 16, 2018, 10:19:33 PM »
Had a broken leg. I wonder how he did that because a vet would not have allowed the sale to go through had he done it over there. I wonder if he kicked the shit out of something.

Anyway, I sure hope he makes it back. His sister Adore me was way better than him (Over there) but he did go 1:47 5/10th. He does have insane speed. Supposed to race this year it says.

Has anyone heard how he is doing

The American career of Have Faith In Me is off to a bad start with the former New Zealand Horse of the Year having to undergo surgery.

After being noticeably lame in a light jog at his new stables, that of New York trainer Al Annunziata, a fracture in a hind leg was diagnosed.

Surgery was successful on what was described as a ‘clean’ break and he is expected to make it back to the track later in the year.

Have Faith In Me swept all before him in the 2015/16 season, winning the Auckland Cup, Chariots Of Fire and Miracle Mile.

Also hope Lazarus races in a month or so because over there he was much better than Have Faith in Me. Who knows, it's hard to adjust to different racing.  Neither one of them may do it but all going well I think Lazarus is far superior to the current FFA pacers but as I say, time will tell.

Isn't this the 1 that Blindswitch robbed the owners on?

How did they rob the owners ??...Story says the horse came to the states with a leg injury.

Hard to see how Blindswitch were the robbers rather than the robbed.

Price was inflated from what they actually paid
