With Saratoga's meet ending, i just have to say i'm disappointed with the quality of racing. Although there was a lot of rain and more scratches then i've ever seen, it just seems the meet wasn't "great'. With my $2500 bankroll, down to $2235, i made very few bets this year. I will hope for better racing at Belmont's Fall meet, and then to the "Big A" for my favorite time of year....."The Big A" and the Winter racing season. Good luck to all!

Ur way ahead of most only dropping a few bills. I think belmont is closed for renovations this fall. I believe their racing in the queens at Aqueduct. U may want to check.
-
Fall meet is at Aqueduct.

Great news! Thanks!
-
Thanks Hornby Duke! They are heading to the "Big A"!
-
If were any longer,I think the Activists would launch a all hands on deck campaign for closure!
-
Definitely. PETA would have first class tickets to Albany
-
Meet has alot fans and huge money wagered

Arent the full race days and analysis on you tube archived..congrat s Linda Rice

LINDA RICE has had quite a run...

Won a race there. other observations:
-one of the worst places on earth when it's raining
-when the gates open, white people runnng like their hair is on fire to get their spot.
-no black people there who are not working. not 1.
-announcer Frank M. ... not for me. Why not Collmus?
I dislike Little Andy Serling more than ever.
the 2 year old races are fun but over rated. The last 2 yo to break his maiden at Saratoga that went on to win the Derby was Big Brown in 2007.
Belmont closed... Big A for 9 months now.

What a major upgrade for racing fans that like to go to the track…Saratoga to Aqueduct. Saratoga around 95% Americans from all backgrounds. Aqueduct about 95% foreigners and I don’t have a clue what language is being spoken. Add some awful Belt Parkway traffic, occasional blinding fog and absolutely no vibe whatsoever. Welcome back to South Ozone Park.

I saw this as well. Not sure how that will pan out.

Im guessing will happen. Nyra fond of saratoga and their not switching race to a nonNYRA track so either saratoga or big A . I like big A but i only watch it on tv; not the nicest venue live. But 1 1/4 mile Belmont not my preference.

With a multi-year renovation project well under way at Belmont Park, the New York Racing Association is planning on conducting racing at Aqueduct for roughly 29 of the next 33 months. The exceptions are the eight weeks each summer when racing is held at Saratoga, plus the expected one-week meets in June 2024 and June 2025 when the Belmont Stakes would be held at the Spa. There are still approvals needed from the state for the latter to occur, but those seem more like a formality.Bitch
