It is completely baffling to me that with this race 3 weeks away that 50 owners feel as of May 15 they have a shot to be 1-5 in the final with a final stakes payments of $2,000.00 Canadian and a starting fee of $8,000.00 Canadian.  Especially with the miles some of these 3 year old's have been showing.  Even with 1% for being in the final and finishing 6-10 you still lose money.  What are some of them thinking?

Look at it this way best Juice wins. All the big boys want to win these big pots so they run the elims a basic no try just qually for the final then load em up and hope your juice is the best.

1st division is much stronger.  Captain Crunch definitely the one to beat.  Hurrikane Emperor is the wild card.  He beat Bettors Wish in Kentucky SS final easily last year and has shown wicked speed on the front and from behind.  This is his first real test this year and he comes in fresh.   De Los Cielos Deo was awful to that ridiculous qualifier last week.  Century Farroh has the 9 and will not be able to control the race.  Shake That House and Air Force Hanover have been solid but are outside.  Unfortunately one of these six won't make the final.

2nd Division Workin Ona Mystery besides the bad post is a certain lock for the final.  Stag Party is 2nd best in this field.  Battle on for the spoils with the rest.

Real question is how hard do you race these divisions since all you want to do is make the final

Looking at that 2nd group for NA Cup
Tyga Hanover was very impressive in the final 1/4 27.2 the program shows be (broken equipment) at finish line, that's kind of strange, does anyone know what was broken?

Tyga Hanover finished with broken equipment (overcheck).

They also have a 100K race for the losers so not all lost when you pay in.
HOW INTERESTING FOR THE BETTORS 2 NINE HORSE FIELDS....SO 5 MAKE IT AND  4 DON'T.
WON'T TOUCH THOSE RACES.

You want to eliminate the 'just out for a tightener till next week " make the eliminations for 200K and the final for 600K, that should peak their interest.

The AGCO Report For Mohawk Race 3 NA Cup Elim:

Senior Judges Report:

Race 3 Reviewed break by # 4 Captain Crunch going to the Ό. Finished 5th
. No violation. There was no front tower video available for the race due to operator error.
Reviewed stretch. # 3 Hurricane Emperor does bear out while on the lead. No
violation of needlessly allowing another horse to pass on the inside.

In this elim as EVERYBODY knows Bettors Wish (Dexter Dunn) had the lead at the quarter in 26.2 hanging out Captain Crunch (Scott Zeron) who broke, and Air Force Hanover (Yannick Gingras). After Yannick takes the lead past the quarter Dunn immediately retakes getting back the lead at the 5/16th's while Dube sensing the slow pace pulls #3 Hurrikane Emperor from 5th and gets the lead before the 1/2!

How in the hell did this happen? 91zxa.1

The 2nd quarter in the first North American Cup elimination went in 30 SECONDS FLAT!   :26.2   :56.2

How in the hell did the so called judges not fine or suspend Dunn like they did Cullen for FAILING TO SET A PACE COMPARABLE TO CLASS? 11.dt

When you look at the new Canadian Fines and Suspensions List issued today Per Henriksen is first on the list and is given a Fine for this exact same offense. 11.wp

Anyone who thinks these Canadian fucks are any better than their American counterparts is crazy. angbk

What race on god's green earth is a second quarter in 30 seconds more of an infraction than in an elimination of the North American Cup? 91zxa.1

Total Canadian bullshit again! 11.dt

The second integrity issue in this race occurred in the last 1/16th of the mile. 11.wp

Scott Zeron was urging Captain Crunch to pass Yannick with #6 Air Force Hanover on the rail to secured that 5th place starting position for the final. 11.wp

Fading as they approached the wire and in danger of losing to Yannick, Zeron clearly pulls his right hand free of the lines and draws back to his shoulder then whacks the shit out of Captain Crunch twice. 11.wp 94z.sm

Watch the replay on your phone where you can enlarge the screen on Zeron as the race finishes live and on the head-on view.  91z.his

It's as obvious as Sylvain Filion fucking  :1 the public driving a 1/5 Stakes Winner in NW-1 race! 91.jzail

Why didn't the judges fine Zeron? 84zac.1

More importantly, why didn't the owners of Air Force One lodge an Objection against Zeron? 91zxa.1

Captain Crunch clearly responded to Zeron's illegal whip use and it help Crunch retake Yannick for 5th place. :1

This wasn't a bullshit NW-1 race where I'm the only one who still cares about the integrity of the race. tmbz1

Dunn and Zeron should NOT be allowed to drive in the Final. 77z.chf 91.jzail

Don't make rules designed to fake integrity if you don't plan on enforcing them. 91zxa.1

And for sure don't cherry pick which shit races are subjected to the rules while high profile races are not,  11.dt

Just because they post 5000 words of hate filled gobbledygook, they still stole the premise from another poster, and don't even give the original poster any credit by 'quoting' them.

I waited for the AGCO report from the judges to see if any action would be taken before I made a post. tmbz1

Nobody stole anything from wiggles.

I then described exactly what happened for those who hadn't seen the race. tmbz1

And regardless of other comments Zeron did use illegal whip action with his hand out of the reins and it is clearly visible to those who don't own a simple flip phone and can zoom in on Zeron in the stretch. 94z.sm

I don't expect welfare loving horsemen or their lackeys to approve of any integrity enforcement. 43z.stf

But a couple of guys at the otb wanted to see the race replay and watch what I saw for themselves.

So I used my new Samsung S10 to replay the race and zoomed in on Zeron the last 1/8th.

Afterwards they agreed that it did look like Zeron pulled his arm back and used way more than wrist action. tmbz1

But they of course said what does it matter the stewards won't do nothing in a stakes race away. 11.wp

And I agree but that's not my point. 98za.ag

My point here is the stewards, NOT ME, made these stupid whipping rules then selectively enforce them. 91.jzail

To me there was nothing wrong with Zeron's quick snaps or anyone else's if they don't draw blood. 11.wp

These Assclowns at Plop head straight to the gutter with every thread not just mine. 43z.stf

And I thought I made it clear that neither infraction I posted about were in my opinion an infraction at all. 98za.ag

I had intended only to point out the hypocrisy in making these stupid rules then cherry picking their enforcement. 68xv.2

De los deo will take a good chunk of money from that post
See what captain crunch fairs from post 8
May be worth the play at the right price

R1 - Capt Italiano.  Sportsline is a nice story nd all, but i think the 4 gets ost on the board here a bit and looks just as likely to me.

R3 - Neither the 2 nor 3 look invincible.  Smart as Hill is my Get Filthy Rich play

R4 - Isitfridayyet is worthy at a decent number.  5/1+ only.

R6-  Exacta P/W ...  67/3467 and press 67/34 a bit.  Also 6 and/or 7 to win at 15/1+

R7-  Not that much early speed so maybe Avalanche Hanover makes the top.  i'm willing to find out at 6/1+

R9 - I'm betting against the Spring 4 yo's and also The Wall who looks more short track,  IDK yet if using 2-3 locals under McWicked in the verticals makes sense yet.  It probably will if both Jimmy Freight AND ThinkBig take action.  Still, not much to be had.

R10 - Watched Deb's last 5x and while visually impressive finally decided it isn't enough.  If Tall Drink wins as 3rd choice so be it.  Chalk out not worthy of my money

R11 - No real opinion other than if Captain Crunch gets totally ignored, I'm willing to bet at 10/1+and I'd play a Crunch/Shartin/Sunny Dee-Undefiable  pick 3.

R14 - How does Nickel Bag not win this?

Great card. Looking forward to the racing.

My plays:
6th 4 Atlanta

9th odd play- really a stab. But since 238 in order look much the best I'm trying to make some $ with the 1, for 2nd and 3rd. I've learned over the yrs to respect the local talent in the gold cup. Nice Pacer the 1 - by far  no mcwicked  ngc3 but good trainer and driver could sneak into the number with a good trip and a little banging up front.

11th 8 Capt crunch - any Colt named after the best cereal in the world gets an auto play.

Finally my filth rich play, I'm all in on a 14 ex bx in the 14th. 4 looks sharp and Henry chooses 1 over the 2 ( a buddy trainee).

Good luck to connections and bettors!

Info you might want to consider:

#4 Working Ona Mystery didn't scope clear went to Kentucky for Hyperbaric treatments.

#6 Tyga Hanover slightly tied up and treated sore splints.

#7 Best In Show spent week in NJ to avoid sickness going around Mohawk.

#10 Stag Party treated for ulcers and EPM.

Brian Brown may be pulling out all the tricks in his bag. 68xv.2

According to the Mayo Clinic Hyperbaric oxygen therapy can increase circulation and oxygenation by 30% compared to before treatment. This can increase your body's athletic performance. The increase in pressure can also reduce swelling, which in turn, increases blood flow.

do some simple math
last week the horse hit his own 3/4 in 125 and was gapped out
sure , he fired home in 25 flat
this week the 3/4 was in 120, that is a 25 length difference
and he was no where off a trip and fractions that some would say he should have closed into

This is typical Woodbine.  They'd rather have someone "nice" that is phony and just goes through the robotic motions than someone who has actual experience and an opinion but might offend someone as a result.  It's like that with all of them: Middleton (awful), Portuondo (awful), Rozema (not as bad but thinks he knows more than he actually does), Blanchard (fluff city), Lupul (give me a break) and the list goes on.  I forgot Mike Hamilton and Garnet Barnsdale. Ugh. Don't get me started.  Been at the job for a million years and still have absolutely no clue.  They all should watch Andy Serling on NYRA or Gabe Prewitt to get a clue about gambling and handicapping.
