If you feel that way, stop being involved in harness racing. If you have such a low regard for it, there are other outlets in life for a person to gravitate to. PIG M you say? You want to be taken seriously with a comment like that? Enjoy your life elsewhere and find another outlet for your venom.
Well at least you can read. However, this forum is for the fans of harness racing. Yes, I am a fan of the sport. I am not a fan of the lying, hypocritical, scumbag who leases the "Pig M". Also, I posted facts about Saturday's night handle. The Pig M LOSES MONEY every night it races. That is a great business model. Your so called number 1 harness track in North America, is not even a shadow of its former self. Your so called number 1 track depends on handouts from taxpayers to survive. Why should taxpayers have to bail out a corrupt business, with a corrupt track lessor, who employs two of the most crooked trainers in the game? Major contraction is the only way the so called sport is going to survive. Unfortunately for you, and your corrupt, hypocritical track lessor, My so called "venom", is actually the facts. Sincerely, Silent One
I beg to differ, sir. My original post stated that the Pig M loses money every night it races..... FACT. The Pig M is not even a shadow of it's former self ................. ................. ................. ......FACT. The Pig M purses are only what they are because of handouts from the taxpayers........ ........FACT. The hypocritical lessor employs two of the most crooked trainers in the game............. .........FACT. I understand people wish for the glory days, when the Big M was the Big M, but the glory days are long gone. The states were so incompetent, and negligent that the Feds had to step in. With all the other gaming options, casinos, sports betting, who wants to wager their hard earned money on a corrupt sport? It is well past time that the individuals involved wake up, and see that their business model is a train wreck. The so called sport has survived on handouts from casinos, and the taxpayers. If the Pig M were to race for their actual handle , without subsidies, using Saturday's numbers, their average purse would be in the $3,800 range. These are the facts, sir. Sincerely, Silent One
If you feel so pessimistic then leave your angst at the door and spend your time enjoying another sport. Why torment yourselves? If the Meadowlands did $20 million a night you would curse that too. Life is way too short to devote such negative energy to a a racetrack. No other harness track can do what the BIG M can......FACT!
