Sergeant Seelster - a short sighted view
« on: January 24, 2019, 10:44:24 AM »
This horse is in to race at the Meadowlands on Friday after making a break in 3 consecutive races and 4 of last 5.

How is this justified? This horse is not fit to be entered in a PM race

Not sure if the break when he won counts as a break because he won. last line shows a xi.

It should count as a break even if he won the race in which he broke.

Nobody interfered with him last week. After watching this horse race and warm up recently, it is hard to believe they think the horse is fit for a PM race.

Interference breaks and breaks on other than a fast track might not count

Neither pertain to the breaks in the last 2 races.

This 45 day rule seems very short sighted. They want to fill the box but when is it a detriment to their long term business?

No way should this horse be allowed to race in a PM race tomorrow, for both other owners and gamblers.

If your that concern, why not call the Meadowlands race office and ask them!

Your sure not going to get a answer on here.

Disagree. It looks like I did get the answer.
1 flat line in 45 days is the rule.

1 flat line in 45 days may be appropriate for a place like bluegrass downs or the ohio fair races

But for a track who claims to be the best around?
