Wrenns better than merriman. Merriman just has more power at Northfield and doesn’t drive as much at the Meadows.

Look at the driver colony at the Meadows, it's a joke. Palone, Merriman,Pants, Wilder then it starts to go downhill fast. Not a lot of talent to pull from local talent pool.
I can't believe indoff has been winning races. A 5 bagger the other day. I'm surprised Monti doesn't do better or get better drives. He's a good kid

I agree Northfield is a step down in the caliber of horses, but I have seen Merriman also drive in some big races at the Meadowlands and did quite well.

Looks like you all got a little of line, check back a few years Ronnie Wrenn was winning more than anybody, then He got married, and now has started a family, just maybe He enjoys spending some time with his family rather than you guys. I have raced against the whole family Ronnie senior, Peter and now Ronnie Jr. This is a true racing family.

Absolutely agree with you and love the fact that he puts family first! He's a good live driver no doubt

   NOT!

Me thinks that you and Tctrotter, and MCR are part of a Bad Trifecta.  Aaron Merriman just won race # 3,247,601 at Northfield. Does that tell you something?  Maybe a mutual admiration society?                  ;D ;D ;D

Let I said in earlier post I would rather have merriman drive my horses than wrenn. Not that wrenn is a bad driver, but merriman is more experienced and I have seen wrenn make more driving mistakes. Just a personal preference.

Merriman drove my horse at a fair track one time and won. NO other driver including david miller was able to keep this trotter flat and win. That was enough to convinced me he's a good driver.

Not being there the whole year and politics are holding Monti back.
He’s tight with the Betts crew and gets their B stock at least. If he sticks it out for a full year instead of just wintering there he will definitely catch on.

Indoff isn’t terrible but is definitely benefiting from Dirk Simpson being on fire for the past 6 months.

As of 2/14 Wrenn has 151 fewer drives but more winners than Merriman

I think wrenn has been getting a lot of burkes drives. Probably comes down to who gets the best horses to drive. Both are good drivers.

Welp Aaron just lost his biggest account at NFLD for at least 60 days. At the very least its going to be interesting.
