That's not the point. Did you watch that drive.  You'd be hard pressed to find a worse drive anywhere in harness racing.

PECK, GREGORY B NEWTOWN, PA PHL on 11/10/2022 FINED: $5,000
DRIVING - 731 DAYS, 12/16/2022 THRU 12/15/2024
HORSE PLACED 7
CONDUCT DETRIMENTAL TO THE BEST INTEREST OF HORSE RACING
PA Code Title 7: 205.401(1) 205.456 205.501(14) 205.404 205.401(5) 205.401(9) 205.401(10) Mr. Peck drove #2, STICK WITH ME, in the 13th race on November 10, 2022 at Harrah`s Philadelphia. Just after the 3/8`s and continuing to after the 1/2, Mr. Peck drove STICK WITH ME from a 2-wide position to a position on the inside without proper clearance, causing interference to and forcing #6, DOYLE HANOVER, off the track. Mr. Peck made no attempt to steer STICK WITH ME to avoid the interference. The judges` consideration that the interference might have been intentional was confirmed while speaking to Mr. Peck on the phone during the post-race inquiry. Mr. Peck`s actions were unreasonable, unprofessional, dangerous, malicious, and injurious to the sport. STICK WITH ME finished 2nd and was placed 7th. Mr. Peck is fined $5,000 (fines are due within ten days of ruling) and is issued a two (2) year suspension from driving (December 16, 2022 up to and including December 15, 2024). As of December 16, 2024, Mr. Peck will be eligible to apply for a qualifying/fair driver’s license. Mr. Peck’s driver’s license has been under summary suspension since November 11, 2022 and that summary suspension shall remain in place until the final adjudication of this ruling. So after his claim to fame with Muscle Hill he said it was time for him to switch to thoroughbreds and win the Kentucky Derby. That winning the Hambo left now seemed beneath him and his talents. I guess that never panned out and he has been a flash in the pan since.

I just watched the replay - if the judges interviewed Peck after the race and he admitted that he ran the 6 off the track causing a bunch of mess and the fact that Peck and the winner were 15 up on the rest of the field.

This race should have been declared a No Contest --- but hey the 4/5 favorite won, let it stand.

And it looks like he will keep his training license.   Just a driving suspension.

well it looks like judges actually can apply rules when warranted if they want to , hopefully they will do more of it
i have no problem with him keeping his training license, but no need for him to be driving ever
