Sportsman’s was the best track in Midwest. I spent every day of every race meet running around pissing off many as a kid. I still see a few here and there and they remind me what a pain in the ass I was. Trainers were cool and every day people. Now some are just so stuck up a kid can’t even walk through their barn without some bitching. The good ole days, the game has changed but the addiction is deep. Was part of every day life then and now. Great flashback videos, thanks for posting. I am usually annoyed by rocco’s consistently obnoxious subjects.....

Nice thread enjoyed watching some old races from there.  I never had the pleasure of driving one to the winners circle there.

Above the paddock looking down at Racetrack Rosie . Man what big black cleavage .  She would stop look up and say something like" Hay (Busse, Banks.or whomever) I got your colors on tonight . Win for me baby."
She made her own cloths.
The good old days!
Google Race track Rosie to get a picture.
I remember Race Track Rosie wearing Ronnie Boom Boom colors.

davenchop - read many of your posts before - know youre a knowledgeable guy about Chicago racing...curious what you're saying morgan did,,,i know for a fact he gambled on the races as ive personally seen him bet...I also believe he's one of the very best horseman / drivers Chicago circuit has ever seen...matter of fact he's number one on my list of Chicago drivers...unless you wanna count timmy as Chicago...timmy is then number 1,,,
