Thought Scott yesterday on broadcast was a great idea. Brings in a totally different view. Any driver injured should get paid to help do broadcasts. The fat guy with him Little something needs to go. Great job Scott.

Driver or trainer
On the sidelines for one reason or another
is a great idea for spot in
TV booth
Maybe One or a few of the INDICTED
can give insights on races
Their knowledge unmeasurable

Excellent point. They can give their guesses on what the winning trainers preraced their horses with! ngc3

I agree Scott did an excellent job! It’s nice to have thoughts from an actual driver. I think it would very helpful to have a retired driver on all board casts. They definitely give great information since they actually have set behind a horse. Lol Kinda like the retired thoroughbred jockeys do on TV for the big races.

Woodbine Mohawk, on their HPI betting site , often have Randy Waples on as handicapper. Like Scott , he has been there , in many races , and gives a very astute insight into horses and races
Scott did very well , considering it was his first session

Scott is smart, well spoken and a top driver. He did a great job. tmbz1
-
of course
don't forget he is Canadian and was educated in a very upscale neighbourhood just outside of Toronto
unlike many who quit school in grade 8 to start mucking stalls
-
Scotty Z is a good guy tmbz1
-
better on a mic than behind a horse
-
I thought he did well on the telecast and he is an above average driver.
-
Very very good driver and a better human being
-
Does he still make a "Z" with the whip?
-
That's his dad
-
Hope he stays in the announcers booth and not drive horses anymore. Horrible. Burns money night after night.

Please say something less dumb for once.

love to hear a drivers opinion.
Saratoga Live on Fox Sports --- Great show --- with jockeys Richard Migliore, Lafitt Pincay and Gary Stevens giving you their thoughts... In addition trainers like Tom Amoss also on the show.
Now the key is to be real --- People will see thru you if you say cute and polite things about every subject. You gotta be real.

Let's be real you are comparing a real sport like thoroughbred racing from top to bottom and injecting harness racing capable of doing the same. Problem is there is a need for those at Saratoga and Del Mar during the summer vs what Pocono and Hoosier where nobody gives a fuck or wagers on that crap. Dink you are spot on about Saratoga and ultra high handle, live attendance, and quality of horses racing at the Spa so bring in those to educate. Harness racing has nothing to compare to that week in week out during the summer. Nobody barely wagers on the sport anymore much less goes to the track.
