Race 4 Dexter gets nailed in the wire - great race.
Dexter late in stretch drifts off rail. No one effected.
No interference but commentators did say Dunn would obviously be fined for changing paths in stretch.
Could you imagine if that rule was in the USA ?

Other things.
How refreshing that during the broadcast
A) they are showing and commenting while horses are warming up.
B) watching them trot - and no freaking hobbles
-
Commentators and trainers interviewed talk about the upgrade to the American bikes today.
Ake is like a God, getting catch drives and referred in most cases as a driver upgrade.
Ake is referred as a Swedish American driver
Dexter referred to as a New Zealand driver.

It's amazing that the trainer of the winning horse said we are going to the front no matter what happens, and he went straight down the road. Great racing.

Calhoun I would like to thank you for posting this as I had Fanduel on earlier and they weren't showing Solvalla. Luckily my TV was still set to that channel and I got to rewind a few races to see Joviality get beat (the announcers were touting her as a superstar and then I saw my favorite horse of last year Double Deciever grind down a top group of four years olds. Couldn't believe it when he (a gelding) went for a half mil at Harrisburg mixed last year but Reden knows what he's doing and he's being prepped for next years Elitlopp.

Horses, drivers look like different species than ours

This is world class racing, not North American "racing".

My Fanduel won't let me rewind. I could with TVG

I heard there were lots of good Stallions in Sweden. It would be a lot of fun to try and breed to a Swedish stud. I wouldn't want to just collect the seman, I'd breed the old fashion way.
